I asked Jana to tell me something about NOUVEAU-TEES.COM.

Hi Jay, thanks for asking me to talk a bit about NouveauTees.com on your VanTribe t-shirt blog!

I’ve been collecting and wearing vintage clothing for over twenty years. Five years ago, I began selling my vintage
collection online from TheAbsintheRoom.com. This is when I really began to learn the in’s and out’s of the internet
and internet commerce. It’s a constant learning experience, from xhtml coding to
photography and graphics, I’m learning something new each day. What a rush! I love it.

It’s from this experience that the foundation was created to launch into
my new endeavor Nouveau tees. One day last year, I discovered spreadshirt.com, and with that, the abilitiy to create my own
graphic t-shirt designs and online shop featuring my creations.
I can’t tell you how wonderful it is to have found this way to express my interests
and creativity all in one format. It’s exhiliarting to do and sell what you love.

Nouveau Tees, really reflects a facet of my personality: I love things that tell a story,
I love history and cultural ephemera, and at the same time, I love modern, progressive ideas and art.

You’ll find that my designs are inspired by these things that i love:
Vintage clothing and textiles, art and design from India, Japan, China and Korea, pop culture and urban iconography,
sacred symbolism throughout time and cultures, motifs and imagery from ancient cultures such as Greece,
Folk Art, Art Nouveau and Art Deco, Architecture, creative individual expression (you), and nature.

Each day I’m discovering new things, so you’ll see that my designs and interests are constantly evolving.
How great is it to be able to wear what you love, something original and unique, just like you!
I love the products that Nouveau Tees offers: organic t-shirts, yoga tops, feminine tank tops, and hoodies. Men will love

TEESHOCK, what`s it about.

Well, I like little monsters and ugly creatures as you might remember.

“EGGY MONSTER”

Little EGGY MONSTER tries to look a little dangerous, but he really is a nice one.

“SPOOKEY”

SPOOKEY spooks around at nights to scare the little kiddies.

“DUKEY”

DUKEY is SPOOKEYS little brother, not that scary, but very funny.

“BURT”

You all might know a guy like BURT, somebody who never does it right, doesn`t matter what it is.

“BUSTER”

BUSTER, Man or insect? Don`t know. Kiddies love him.
